At Nool Books, we strive to create a trustworthy, peer-to-peer platform for buying and selling books within your campus community. While all transactions are coordinated directly between users, we understand that issues can sometimes arise.

Please read our Refund Policy carefully:

🔄 Eligibility for Refund

Refunds are only considered under the following condition:

  • One party (buyer or seller) fails to show up at the agreed-upon time and location for the book exchange.

🚫 Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be granted in cases where:

  • Both parties agreed to reschedule outside the Platform.
  • The buyer received the book but later reported an issue unrelated to the meetup failure.
  • There is insufficient evidence of a missed appointment.
  • More than 48 hours have passed since the scheduled meeting.

📩 How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please follow these steps:

Send an email to help@thenool.com within 48 hours of the scheduled meeting time.

2.

Include the following details in your email:

  • Your full name and registered email
  • Title of the book and transaction ID (if available)
  • Name of the other party (buyer/seller)
  • Date, time, and location of the scheduled meetup
  • Brief description of what happened

📄 Proof or Evidence

To reduce false claims, please attach any relevant screenshots, chat logs, or photos (if applicable) that support your refund claim (e.g., showing you were at the meetup spot at the agreed time).

Our support team will manually review your request and contact both parties for verification.

⚖️ Dispute Escalation

In the event of a dispute where users provide conflicting stories, our team will review communication and any submitted evidence. We reserve the right to make the final decision on refund eligibility.

⚠️ Important Notes

  • Refunds are not guaranteed and will be issued only after manual review.
  • Both parties may be contacted to confirm the circumstances before a decision is made.
  • Refunds are not issued for:
    • Disputes over book condition (users are encouraged to verify condition in person before purchase)
    • Change of mind after successful exchange
    • Delays or rescheduling, unless one party fails to show completely
  • All refund decisions are final and at the discretion of the Nool Books support team.

🕒 Processing Time

Approved refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days after review.
