Q: How do I sign up for Nool Books?
A: Download the app and sign up using your email and select your campus. You can personalize your profile with a photo and start listing or browsing books right away.
Q: Is Nool Books available at all campuses?
A: We support most universities and colleges across the U.S. If your campus isn't listed, let us know at help@thenool.com.
Q: How do I list a book for sale?
A: Tap the "+ Sell a Book" button, upload clear photos, enter title, author, condition, and price. Publish it, and it will be visible to users on your campus.
Q: How do I buy a book?
A: Browse listings by title or subject. Once you find a book, tap "Message Seller" to start a conversation and coordinate the pickup details.
Q: How do I decide the pickup location?
A: All pickup details—location, date, and time—are discussed and agreed upon within the app's chat between buyer and seller.
Q: Can I contact a user outside the app?
A: For privacy and security, all communication must take place within Nool Books.
Q: What if I don't get a response from the seller/buyer?
A: If a user does not respond within a reasonable time, you may move on to another listing or seller. You can also report inactive users through their profile.
Q: How do I edit or delete my listing?
A: Go to your profile > "My Listings" > tap on the listing to edit or delete.
Q: How do I update my profile or change my campus?
A: Tap on your profile icon, then edit your information from the settings menu.
Q: How do I delete my account?
A: If you'd like to permanently delete your account, please contact us at help@thenool.com with your request.
Q: Is it safe to meet strangers on campus?
A: Always meet in well-lit, public areas on campus. We recommend bringing a friend along for extra safety and keeping all conversations within the app.
Q: How do I report inappropriate behavior or listings?
A: Tap on the user's profile or listing and select "Report." Our moderation team will review and take necessary action.
